Post-Intervention Cancer:

At Hackberry Creek Care Center, we are dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the disease process. We offer programs and information to help the patient and family successfully deal with treatment and the emotional issues surrounding cancer diagnosis. Our staff provides services designed to meet the medical and emotional needs of both the patient and family.

Each year, we host a Day of Celebration for cancer patients and their loved ones. The event celebrates the survival of cancer, provides survivors with an opportunity to meet and greet cancer survivors, and just have some fun!

Relay for Life
Relay For Life® is an overnight event celebrating survivorship and raising funds to help the American Cancer Society save lives, help those who have been touched by cancer, and empower individuals to fight back against this disease. During the event, teams gather and take turns walking or running laps. Each team keeps at least one team member on the track at all times.

The Relay For Life is much more than a walk around a track. It is a night for people who have shared the same experience to comfort and console one another. The Luminaria Ceremony at Dusk is a beautiful ceremony honoring those who have lost their battle with cancer as well as those who are survivors.

Motley County has grown closer as a community because of this event. And the event continues to grow each year.
